Reviews
In A Nutshell:
-French Truck Coffee is a local coffee chain with locations around NOLA, Louisiana & Memphis.
-They source from origin bringing you the freshest beans in small batches & roast them for you promptly.
-During hot & muggy days like the current heat dome we're experiencing in the Dirty South, you'll be happy to down a nice cold cup of New Orleans Iced Coffee.
-Not only is the coffee amazing, but the type of ice they use is my favorite crushed ice that pairs perfectly w/ this iced coffee.
-I like the name French Truck Coffee along w/ the bright yellow color they use.
-You can even purchase their coffee at local grocery stores too.
Overall, if you are NOLA, you need to stop by for some great coffee!
After dropping our friends off for their cruise, my husband and I were on the hunt for coffee. Yes, there was a Starbucks close by, but I wanted to try something new and someplace local. A quick search led me here, and we were very glad we visited. The place looks small on the outside but is very roomy inside with a spacious and beautiful outdoor patio. The entire space is bright and airy and is a great place to relax before starting your day. The young woman behind the counter was very helpful in answering my questions, and our coffee came out quickly. If you are visiting the area, do yourself a favor and give French Truck Coffee a try. It's a welcome change from the usual stand-by!
i ordered two coffee, latte and americano.
people here are kind and very nice, interior is not so bad.
taste is not good for me because i like little bit stronger, but other will feel good. just not my favorite taste from this cafe.
French Truck has been one of my go-to spots for good coffee options as well as a chill space to work remotely. The magazine location near the bridge doesn’t get too busy, so it’s usually easy to find a seat. But some of the other locations can get pretty packed.
I swear some of the best coffee I had in the city. The workers are sweet and down to earth. Definitely recommend them to EVERYONE. My new favorite ❤️ place!!!!!! Gotta try muffins 🤤
This was my first visit visit to French Truck. I was looking forward to trying their New Orleans Iced Coffee. I politely asked for “slightly less ice” (their iced coffee is poured over a cup overfilled to the absolute brim with ice). I was told this would be a dollar extra. My face was shocked and the barista told me that with less ice “they need to charge for adding more coffee”. I didn’t ask for no ice. I didn’t even ask for only half the amount of ice. I asked for SLIGHTLY less, and that warrants a dollar up-charge? Would I actually be getting that much “more coffee”? This is absurdity. A small iced coffee is already $5.20 here, which is extremely expensive. You are getting an extremely small amount of actual coffee. Coffee shops like this are just price gouging customers. There are several other coffee shops on Magazine that accommodate this kind of request without a ridiculous charge. I’d rather give my business to them.
What a unique spot! It’s hard to describe, but it sort of feels like a coffee shop located in an upscale summer camp. Deceptively large with ample seating both inside and out, I can picture hanging here between plans, recovering and fueling up for what’s next. I finally tried the Oji cold brew, and it was very smooth with some subtle depth. Of the three French Truck locations I’ve been to this week, this may be my favorite due to the unconventional building.
I absolutely love this place! I want a pint size French Truck Coffee to carry around with me everywhere! I'm so sad we don't have one in Alabama. It's some of the best coffee I've ever had. I ate breakfast one morning during my visit to NOLA. I visited the Magazine Street location. Great service. Awesome vibe. All the merch is fantastic! I bought the seasonal coffee to take home. Definitely worth a visit while you're anywhere in NOLA.
